The creative collective of the movie “Right on Time” was a serendipitous collision of passionate minds and chance encounters. Jolee Cyphert, actress and aspiring filmmaker, first met Oliver Crooms IV, actor, producer, and founder of the Carolina Film Festival, working together on another project where they connected over their shared love of acting and storytelling.

Shortly after, Crooms IV came to Cyphert with a pitch – to create their very own holiday rom com and they began assembling a creative team and a plan to kick the project off.

Their collective synergy sparked the idea for “Right on Time,” a heartwarming holiday love story about finding the “one”, chasing dreams, and embracing second chances.

Cyphert, taking on the roles of writer, co-director, and co-producer for the first time, navigated the exhilarating yet daunting journey of bringing their vision to life. Drawing from a wellspring of creativity and determination, Cyphert’s fresh perspective injected vitality into the project, infusing it with authenticity and depth. Meanwhile Crooms, serving as co-director and co-producer swiftly leveraged his talent, experience, and expertise to elevate every aspect of the production.

The process of visualizing and conceptualizing “Right on Time” became a labor of love, weaving together personal experiences, dreams, and a shared commitment to creating a holiday classic. With their combined passion and unwavering commitment, Cyphert and Crooms form an indomitable creative duo, poised to deliver a film that promises to be groundbreaking and captivate the hearts of audiences worldwide.
